You're The Captain Of My Heart

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a fun card I made using some fun products from My Favorite Things.

Who doesn't love a pirate, right?  This little cutie is from the BB Party Like A Pirate set.  First I used the Radiating Rays stencil and the Stitched Circle STAX die-namics to create the sunray.  I used Lawn Fawn's Stitched Hillside Borders to diecut the sand and ocean and and sponged distress inks for color.  I colored the images with copics and then diecut them using the coordinating die-namics.  I used a black glaze pen on the pirate's eye.

Copics used:
Skin - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20
Hair - E44, E43, E42
Skull - C5, C3, C1
Red - C3, R46, R24, R22
Jacket, Sash - E47, E44, E43, E42, E41
Sails - E41, E40
Ship - E29, E27, E25, E23, E21, R46, R24

Your Next Stamp - August DT Dare

Good morning friends!  Today I'm joining Your Next Stamp as a guest to play along in their DT Dare!  The dare this month is to create a project with the theme "color me happy".

I used the cute girl from the Little Darling Wayfinder stamp for my card.  This stamp set is one of the new August release stamps.  I used the Stitched Scallop Rectangle Die Set to cut a piece of white cardstock and then used distress inks to sponge on some color.  I colored this sweet girl and her flowers with copics and then diecut them with the coordinating dies.

The Challenge #94 - Inspiration

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for our new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.

Our challenge this week is an inspiration challenge and we have a bright and cheerful picture to inspire you.  I used Cupcake Anya from The Greeting Farm.  I couldn't find her in the TGF Shop so I think she may be a retired image.  I colored Anya, her balloon, and the banner with copics.   I used Distress Inks for the ground and the clouds.  The balloon is a diecut from My Favorite Things and I used a black marker to draw the balloon string to her hand.  The banner and sentiment are from SugarPea Designs.

Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see what the rest of the DT created this week.  I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

The Challenge #93 - Keywords

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for our latest challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.

Our challenge this week is a "keyword" challenge and I used the adorable Snuggle Bunnies from My Favorite Things.  I colored the bunnies with copics and then diecut them using the coordinating die-namics.  I used the Stitched Scallop Basic Edges die-namic to cut the plaid paper from the Plaid Patterns Merry & Bright Paper Pack.  I used the Stitched Circle Frames die-namic to cut the circle and then stenciled the clouds using distress ink and the Stencil Cloud.  Lastly, I added a few enamel dots to finish off my card.

You can use as few or as many of the keywords to create your card as you like.  Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see what the rest of the DT created this week.  I hope you find some time to play along in the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!
